making a difference

Flowers are admired and appreciated across the globe. The beauty of a blossom – even the simplest, tiny flower – touches us, in part because its loveliness is fleeting. Flowers don't last forever, but at Blooms of Hope the impact of your floral artwork reaches far beyond the day itself. We donate 50% of our profits to charitable organizations. This means that your flowers are hard at work long after the blooms themselves have faded.

Giving away half of our profits may seem like a questionable business model. But profit wasn't the motive behind our company's launch. Blooms of Hope's first seeds were sown in 2004 when Nicole began volunteering at Room to Grow, a Boston nonprofit that supports the development of young children born into poverty. In addition to volunteering her time, Nicole put her floral talents to use by creating arrangements to brighten the Room to Grow waiting area. Other volunteers began asking about Nicole's floral services and urged her to start a business. Blooms of Hope sprouted into existence, with a continued commitment to supporting important nonprofits.

Your purchase of $5,000 or more allows you to name the charitable organization of your choosing – and our donation will be made in honor of your event!

Room to Grow

Room to Grow

The mission of Room to Grow is to enrich the lives of babies born into poverty throughout their critical first three years of development. Parents expecting a baby are referred to Room to Grow by selected prenatal programs assisting low-income families. Upon their referral, parents visit Room to Grow's warm and inviting space once every three months from just before the birth of the baby until their child turns three.
